It fits, but it's a tight fit (as everything else with this swap). You can always just use the late model 325i tank and splice the e30 hose into e32/e34 hose.

i really wanna use the e34 tank its just the hose is crimping on the booster cause its so tight to the manifold and the distance between the tank and the firewall inlet is so much shorter then on an e34 and it bends the hose funny...
