I searched all over the forums and google to find a reference picture but could not.
How does one install the engine mount heat shield on the passenger side (M42) ?
Can you send me a picture for yours ?
It is part # 11 on the below realoem diagram, it shows a 6mm bolt.
No mater what orientation I tried to flip it I could not get to fit properly.
The shield has a 6mm hole and the engine mount stud is 10mm so it could not possibly sit on top of it too.
The extra hole in the engine mount bracket (part #2 where marked) has also no threads inside it.
