whats wrong with my car??

My car keeps dying on me. it seems to idle fine when i first start it up, then i drive 2 blocks, and come to a stop and the fucking thing dies unless i masage the throttle to keep it going. when im in gear, everything seems fine, its only at idle.

any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated.

pull your ICV and clean it... better yet, test it's resistance using a multimeter per the Bentley. The quickest and easiest way to tell if the ICV is functioning, turn the key to on w/o starting the vehicle - touch the ICV, if you can feel or even hear a strong "bzzzzz" coming from the unit, it's powered up. Now, that you can confirm it's powered, test it to see if the resistance specs meet those of the Bentley...

You can also clean it by removing it from the vehicle, shooting cleaner inside of it, cap the open ends and shake it vigorously. Let it dry and then replace, start the car and see how it performs after the cleaning. Most sporadically functioning ICV's can be "saved" by a mere cleaning of the carbon build up inside of them... others are sometimes too far gone, as a cleaning will not even bring them back to life, so you have to replace...
