Are COP worth it if you need ignition parts?

So one of my coils is bad, and I feel it quite a bit.
I've liked the Idea for a COP but it just doesn't seem to be worth the dollars.

unless there were upgraded coils available, like s52 or something that was compatible, it may be worth it, but, i'd like it to be more of an upgrade if I am going to spend the money for the kit.

any Opinions on whether or not the COP kit is worth the extra bucks, for performance economy, etc? or should I just replace the coil, and call it a day?

i read that the only difference you can really feel is a cleaner engine bay. but i imagine there is a slight performance difference

I think it's worth it for how much it cleans up the engine compartment. The other benefits are nice too.

If you're going to replace the M42 coils its honestly cheaper to buy the COP kit than to replace the M42 coils and wires.

It's definitely worth the swap. There's really no downside to doing it at all.

-It's the same price pretty much as replacing the plug wires.
          -Gets rid of a failpoint
-I've personally noticed some performance gain, although it may just be placebo affect
-They look damn cool and clean up the engine bay
-Also noticed improved fuel economy, I got nearly 380mi to my last tank, before was ~340-50

All of the above = win

Yes it's a very good mod for the M42.

Do they sell real kits yet? or is it still just the plate where you have to piece everything together?
