So I bought this car to use for parts and rebuild the motor. Pulled it, sat for a while, never got around to it. Decided to sell it, found a buyer and he came and paid for it. Week later he comes back with a story about a ruined engine. I explained to him that it was not running when i got it so I could not verify it. We worked it out it out and all is good. Here is a pic for your enjoyment.


This is what happens when one of your cap bolts falls off and that inturn shears the other off. Oh well. This was behind the big square Alt bracket.

The guy I bought the car from told me he
thought it needed a head gasget. Aaahhhhh he'd be wrong!!!!

The guy that bought the motor was pissed, but we worked it out. He still got a hell of a deal for the the stuff I sold him. My loss but I just assume see him happy and the stuff out of my garage.
