    e36 M42 Flywheel different than e30 m42 flywheel?

I found some cheaper aluminum flywheels from a reputable source, however they are manufactured for e36 m42s.

I just searched on Pelican parts and found that the e30 m42s, and e36 m42s have the same flywheel part number, however it is quite common for them to screw up on something like that.

    Any opinions?

      Is that a riddle?

Yes, they are the same. What flywheel are you looking at?

Just make sure they specify the 318 clutch! Alot of the E36 318 lightweight flywheels are actually larger and use the e36 M3 clutch disc and pressure plate which will not fit in the G240 bellhousing!
