eBay Dinan chips: yay or nay?

Hearing mixed reviews. Would like any opinions comparing the M42 Dinan chip to the MarkD chip.

I have a mark D I think. The alpine has a dinan. The black one seems faster, but I'm curious to change the chips some time.

the chip might work fine, but only because it is a rip off of a real dinan chip (or markD chip) for that matter. buy a real one.

I had some misgivings about forking out the money for a real chip, but after finally breaking down and getting a Mark D one via the group buy here, I can say it was totally worth the money. Big improvement in day-to-day drivability for me. It's probably hit or miss with the eBay ones, so I say give Mark some business and buy his instead of a cheap rip-off.
