    Quick hose question

I took off my upper intake manifold to install some new injectors yesterday, but I've been having a bit of trouble getting it all put back together

    Specifically:

How do you re-connect these two hoses underneath the throttle body? I just can't get my hands down in there with the manifold lined up on the studs, and the hoses aren't long enough to pull them up to the "nipples" on the TB.

If I remember correctly, the two top ones are water hoses that connect to the "carb heat" on the throttle body. I think the larger one on the bottom connects to the rubber intake between the air box & throttle body via a hard plastic junction.

Bottom line is that there's a huge amount of spaghetti underneath there, and the only way I got it back together right was having the exploded view printed out off of RealOEM.

    1/2 of it is here - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...07&hg=13&fg=15

You should delete all that crap and take out the heater plates.

        AMEN.

More than worth when it comes to losing that fucking mess under the intake. Silly Germans!

Yea that would be it. On the other hand its pretty damn cold in Michigan and he may be worried about his TB freezing up. I dunno if its his DD or what. If not, DO IT and plug the coolant ports.

yes, do it, worth it to get rid of all those stinking hoses, careful on how you plug the ports, I favor just running a loop. those stupid little plugs fpr blocking off water lines tend to let loose
lots of good info on the search adn tjts1's right up on this issue
