I just got my hands on a euro 323i flywheel (13.5lbs), so I'll be selling my stock 325i flywheel.
Do I still need to use the spacer? There is MUCH less material on the non-mating side, so the 323 flywheel won't hit the block without the spacer. That is, is the spacer used ONLY to keep the stock M20 flywheel from rubbing the block, or does it serve another purpose?
