e30 decided today it just wont work.....need advice

had the car for three weeks now today i turn it on to drive back home and as soon as i turned it on it was making a weird noise i said ahhh e30 w.e , i get home turn it off try to turn the car back on nothing, no noise , no clicks, no crank, the car just got new starter , the car gets power everything works it just wont turn, i ran the screwdriver on the bolts of the starter and sparks so i assume its getting power but somehow the starter isnt getting it to the engine...can i just have a faulty starter??? sidenote- it will start from a push start just not when its parked thanks guys

im getting the replacement one on Thursday fingers crossed that's the problem

mine did the same thing. I left work it started fine stopped at the local auto parts store to get some replacement tail light bulbs went to leave and nothing. Push started it to get it home pulled the starter had it tested and it was dead.

yea same thing here, glad to hear someone else went through this before, thanks for the input i can sleep ez'er now lol
