    Ford/Volvo Injectors

Wondering which you guys are running, or which set is the "best" for our engine. So many options, had no idea what to search on ebay. Looking for the increased torque and smoother rpm. (also, no junk yards in hawaii)
    Definite answer would be sick.

I'm using 4-pintle injectors off of an '03 Mustang GT with great success. The difference isn't huge, but it is noticeable.

thanks for the reply, but I need part numbers to verify.
Got a little scared to order after seeing the variety.

After a bunch of reading on m42 club, I purchased a set of Bosch MPI injectors pn 0280150556 from Motor Man. (yeah - a ford part)

Per research - they're said to be nearly identical to factory with exception of four pintles (holes) instead of two. (better atomization) Advise to specify four pintle upon ordering.

Thanks so much. I was reading for a while too, but, I guess now I feel more comfortable now that somebody guinea pigged it for me. ;)

Please post back how these injectors work out for you. Are you doing the hose mess clean-up too? Im thinking about doing this to my car.

Im in hawaii too, work at the Tony Autoplex.

                    I'm actually restoring a 91 318ic (calypso)
It's at the stripped stage. The engine bay has had everything removed and most of it wont be going back in essentially.

Apparently there's a small E30 community on the island. Are you a part of it?

Still collecting parts. Went to the junkyard to find premium speakers, found none. I've been reading threads here about door mounted speakers, and I think I'll go that route. Then I can have my midbass, and fit a 6.5 speaker. I've started looking at components online and am just confused with the hundreds of choices out there. Damn capitalism.

For head unit i've been watching that JVC thread. The face looks good and its got the features I want.

No. I'm super busy with work and havent had time to meet up with anyone. I went to the stadium to check out the autocross, but havent participated yet.

Honestly, i've lost a good amount of my driving/car enthusiasm after being harassed by the overticketing and policing that goes on here. Even driving with the flow of traffic and I'm speeding.

I do my spirited driving on the back roads of North Shore, and Wailua. Tantalus is too crowded with ricers. Maybe the long empty, un-policed combination of straights and curves of the pineapple fields and valley will reanimate that enthusiasm.

                          Love your car.

It's pretty un-known generally, but morning and night time, the roads are empty. Not to mention, gorgeous views and smooth asphault.
