    LOL - fixed leaks under intake - now the idle sucks!

    I went through and did all the hoses under the intake - and now she don't idle for crap. I did everything right as far as I can see - and I've done this job 5 times.

    It sounds like it's missing. Seems that cylinder 4 might not be getting fuel now. Anything particular you guys think I should look for?

      Well, it looks like I have a vacuum leak at the intake-block junction on cylinder 4 heavy and 3 moderate. The gasket isn't re-sealing.

        Did you use a new gasket? RTV also works.

            i never had good luck with rtv, just make sure the surface is nice and smooth and torque it down to the correct specs

                well - I reassembled it - it still runs terrible. GRR. Going to pull it down and put in a full tank of gas/injector cleaner/new fuel filter and go at it again.
