    whats involved with a m42 to m44 swap?

    My m42 took a dump, and i found an m44 for a good price. Anyone know whats involved? two issues i think would be OBDII and EWS...

      isn't the same motor except .1 more liters? not worth it. just go with an m5x

          The electronics and the harness are completely different...you'd have to do an OBDI conversion with the M42 stuff to make it work with the car harness or do a lot of custom wiring, I'd think.
