    AC and power windows connected?

    washing...

So, I decided to wash my engine bay at a wash station. Its dirty because I haven't washed it due to my paranoia of getting any electrical or vacuum lines somehow messed up.

Well, after all the while I went ahead and washed it carefully.

Everything seemed fine until my AC blue switch and power window lights started blinking.
The AC and the fan would turn on and off in unison with power windows.
It seemed that at certain RPMs like idle and around 2k it would work and any other RPMs it would just blink like crazy and I heard clicking sound from the knee bolster area.

Now the windows don't work while the AC works with the engine on and WITHOUT engine running nor the key being in the ignition!! Wha??

    I need help!
    Any suggestions will be appreciated!
    Thanks!

      disconnect the battery
open the round connector that is used for testing and blow it out
open fuse box, remove all fuses, relays, blow it out, let it all dry

I dont really know if that will help, but they are two very likely canidates that water got into them

just getting water onto the ac compressor would ot have done anything and the electrical connections on the engine for the cps cs and injectors would not have any affect on the windows and ac

totally agree... these items as well as things like alternator should be covered as best as you can when washing an engine in this method. You can clean these areas by hand fairly easily...

        Water+electrical connections=bad
