Yep, 10 degrees. But my air box was missing the rubber boot thing that goes to the headlight shield, so it was sucking in hot air anyway.Leave a comment:

Oh i see what your saying. i kinda did that w/ mine. i took a peice of exhaust tubing which had a bend in it and used that to place the filter on top of the abs module. Ill post a pic of it in a sec.

I use to use my Kamotor CAI.. i put my stock air box in. cuz..
1)no carb sticker
2)not really much of a difference in speed
3)exhaust is already loud.. dont really need it louder..
But I loved it when I had my head beam out & i auto x'ed with 19lb injectorsLeave a comment:

I'm running a fairly sized itg foam filter. W/ no heat shield, I am losing power. But hopefully when I build the full box for it, I will get back to at least stock performance.
My car sounds boss though lol. ;)Leave a comment:

I ran a giant cone filter with a good heatshield for awhile. Didn't notice a performance gain, but it sounded good and dropped my intake temps by a little more than 10 degrees on average. I'm running megasquirt, though, so I didn't have use for the AFM.Leave a comment:

guess he didn't follow direction. after oiling the filter i put a towel under it and let the extra oil drain out.Leave a comment:
