Weak blower motor?

California is getting into the high 90s lately so I been trying to use my AC. The only problem I have with this is that I've noticed the blower isn't blowing hard at all and its on the high setting. I was wondering is this a bmw thing or is there something wrong with my motor or something else that is restricting the air flow (cabin filter?). I have a 91 318is if it makes any different.

I can't say for certain - but here's some pics from when I replaced my resister coil pack. Flow-resistant debris was vacuumed from heater core. Might be related to what you're experiencing..
