    Pointy teeth on crank sprocket?

    (136K mile engine)
All my sprockets look great (squared) – with exception of crank sprocket. I’m puzzled. Are teeth on this sprocket pointy to begin with? Should I replace it?

Sweet dude - thanks so much !

Yeah - it looks like crank sprocket is somewhat 'pointy' to begin with.

Thread has already been answered, but yeah, what bmwm42 said. My gf's (145k) was a bit worn - big difference between the new and old. However, her cam gears were mint. Kind of weird!
