Ok so I just had my A/C serviced about a month ago. Runs great, but sometimes if I hit a bump or come out of a steep driveway it will kick on at random. It's starting to piss me off, because it will alternate on/off and my idle will bounce and the car will stutter..
I went over all the wires down there, and they seem to be fine. However, my A/C switch (the snowflake button, not the recirculate button) does not work sometimes when I press it, but other times it kicks right on like a daisy. Also, the light inside the snowflake button does not work. Could this whole fiasco be caused by a faulty A/C button? Wouldn't the recirculate button be affected as well?
This has happened since I bought the car, but I have not used A/C as much because 1) I like to look like a G with my windows down. 2) Saves money on gas. 3) Feels like I'm driving a paraplegic when the A/C is on.
Anyway, any help with this would be much appreciated.. and I'm hoping it's just the switch! No other electrical problems in the car whatsoever.
