1991 M42B18 in a 1998 318i?

my question is: does the 91' motor have the same bolt holes on the block, etc. for the OBD1 stuff to be bolted to it, and can I swap out all of the accessories to convert it to a serpentine engine as it is all v/belt.

I can only find (and not much at that) info on people putting M44s in E30s, not the other way around.
