    Quick question on chain tensioner

So, i took on this relatively simple job after replacing my accessory belts and when attempting to remove the 19mm bolt I think i threaded the bolt. So now my ratchet slips off the bolt every time. The bolt itself was immovable, I was practically moving the motor when attempting to unscrew the bolt.

Any advice? Is there another way to replace the tensioner?

This does not sound good! you might have to use a chissel and possibly jack the engine up for better clearance. but with the right equipment and enough technical skills it should not be that bad.

Thanks for the reply, I'll probably take it to GPS here in Jersey and see what's going happen. I don't have the proper tools to jack motor itself up and have limited experience with "technical skills" lol

Well, then leave it to the people that have experience. And you're 'soon to be 24'd' anyway, so f' it.

I change my mind much too often, I'm going to be buying a spare m42 and build it for a turbo application. I just kept that sig for the hell of it.
