    ICV Cleaning

What's the best/ safest method of cleaning an ICV? What cleaner should be used? Simple green I've heard works well. Any other suggestions?

Did some searching and couldn't find a clear answer.

I have some idling issues and I'm guessing its my ICV. I have a carb cleaner. Do I just directly spray the insides of the ICV? Sorry for the noob question, it is my first E30 so I just wanna make sure I'm gonna do the right thing before I do it.. Don't wanna mess it up...

I filled mine halfway with brake cleaner, shook it around, drained, and repeated a few times. Works just as new.

Electrical parts cleaner is the safest solvent.

Take it off and spray a bunch of cleaner through it. Just let it soak then dry.
