M42 high idle

So when i got this car it had a low idle and i found out the the wire had an open, rewired it and now it idles at 2100 rpm.... put a new icv still idles at 2100. When I first start it in the morning it idles at 1500 for a few seconds then it goes right back up! help please!!!

for grins, unplug the TPS. It will run wihtout it plugged in, ( at least my m42 does) and it fixed my idle problem. So wiht it figured out I ordered a new one, but the car is still running good, so I have not installed the new one yet , even wiht the TPS unplugged. Before that I too tried the ICV and the crank and cam sensors.

I tried that and it helped so I think I'm going to replace it, I also just re-wired a bunch of things (not related) and that made it go down as well so I'm sure it was electrical! Thanks for the help
