    Radiator fan always spins

N00b here. Does anyone have this problem? Every time I hit the gas, the fan goes on. And it's annoying and loud. I looked at the relay and some wires are exposed so I don't know whether or not it could be the fan clutch, thermostat, or whatever the hell. I haven't really looked into it as much as I should, but where's a good place to start from in terms of finding out the problem?

I'm also considering an electric fan swap.

    Thanks in advance :D

like a loud screeching or squealing sound?

    - cause that would instantly lead me to check for a loose belt.. which is adjusted at the alternator bracket..

Nah, just the fan spinning. The belts are fine, checked those out already. One of the fan blades has a thumb-sized chunk missing- a rock must've bounced into it somehow or something, so that only makes the noise more annoying. Not sure if I should just say 'fuck it' and swap for an electric fan or not.

Egg-zactly! When I'm driving into the parking garage for my gym, it sounds like a dump truck is hauling up the ramps. So loud.
