As stated in the title, I was hoping to find some guidance as to how the hoses for the Fuel Tank Breather Valve should be routed. I found a couple of diagrams on realoem, and bmwfans which do help, unfortunately however, it's not enough. So now I'm here. The vehicle in question, just to be clear, is a '91 318is with the m42b18 engine.
Here is the diagram showing what exactly I'm on about

In this diagram it is hose #2 that I am confused about, clearly one end attaches to the Valve itself, but where does the other end go? The nipple on the underside of the Throttle Body? And does it involve the piece labeled 6-RS?
I am currently amidst fixing the unfortunately well-known "mess under the intake" and I can't really move on with it until I figure this out.
Thanks a lot for any help/direction on this!
