    Oil light on

Hope it's not oil pressure. It drives fine and idles fine. I unplugged the sensor at the filter housing and light goes away. Is that normal? Ima clean the sensor and hope for the best. Compression test I know I know but the damn thing is strong

Did you check the oil level?

replace the sensor and try again... oil pressure isn't something you wanna play around with not having. And the M42 has been known to lose it for more than one reason.

Is your upper oil pan gasket still in place?

The upper oil pan bolts loosen up, moves the pan and gasket, and cuts off oil flow.

            I wouldnt risk it.

I have the same problem almost, mine start off slowly then then after awhile turns pretty red then goes down a bit. I do have a slight oil leak. I really need to see where its coming from.
