M42 engine number location

hey guys, anyone know where i can find my engine number? can't flippin find it and i want to know if its the original engine that was in the car from factory

On the left side of the engine, drivers side. On the right side when you are standing infront of the car...
Right (right side) next to the motor mount.
On the very bottom of the engine block.
There you can spot a flat area.
Use sandpaper to get the numbers visible again.

There should be a VIN sticker facing up just below the starter that is visible from above the engine bay, usually under a thin layer of dirt.
