Compression Test Numbers - Good or Bad?

I did a compression test on my m42 cabby today, & I got 120 (with slight variations) across all 4 cylinders. Are these numbers okay? My car has 115xxx miles. I just wanted to make sure the engine was good before I drop the cash on new timing components.

    Thanks.

Sounds consistent, although a little low.

I'm also 4500 feet above sea level if that makes any significant difference.

the actual [high or low] numbers are moot - due to variances in equipment used - and number of cranks..

What you're looking for in a compression test is consistancy across the cylinders.

        Sounds like you're good.
