    Easy/Quick Maintenance!!

I'm looking for some quick maintenance work to do on my car. I need any help to make my car run better. It runs well but it can always run better, right? Once I get more money I will do some big fixes to make my car great. So if anyone could help me in any way, it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Spark plugs, fuel injectors (clean and new o-rings), corroded hoses, oil change, gaskets wherever they are leaking....

What are the problems with your car? Does it idle ok?

Thanks man, I'll get all that stuff. My car doesn't idle that well, I have a crack in the black tube that connects to the air filter and the engine so I assume that would be the problem. Also I've been wondering about this one weird thing I have. When it's cold and I first start my car the temperature gauge goes right to red but after a but of driving it goes back to normal

Do the mess under the intake, either reference on r3v under M42 or use M42club under general topic. While doing the mess deletion, replace the intake boot, do injector seals, fresh gaskets for the manifolds, spark plug well gaskets, clean your intake manifold and throttle body and idle control valve.

Not sure if you will have money left after that (it's not too expensive, under $100), but the first thing I address on a car is brakes, starting with fresh brake fluid, progressing to all the soft lines and master cylinder reservoir seals, then on to pads and rotors, or just turn the rotors and get good pads.

Thanks, I'll try to do all of this stuff. In excited to get to work. Thanks for all your help. I'm going to do a lot of research on all of this and start right away. I just got new brake pads and rotors recently so i should be good with that.

Timing chain tensioner if your teeth are pointy or you hear ANY kind of rattling at all from the engine.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
