Firstly yes I have searched the forum to see if I could find an answer and I've had no success.
I'll start with a rundown of my car to give you some background. Stock M42 with dual mass FW and clutch. 4.10 mid case LSD with full GC coilovers kit, 15" wheels with Toyo R1R's and lastly a schmiedmann cat back exhaust. The car sticks to the ground unless on a wet or lose surface.
I replaced the clutch and many other parts on the car around 20,000 km's ago. What I have found is that with the dual mass FW the clutch will slip when changing into 2nd and 4th under hard acceleration.
So my question, does anyone else experience this?
What clutch disc are people using that grips the dual mass FW the best? I assume if I go down the path of a single mass FW I wont have this issue?
Keen to hear what people are using and any comments or thoughts on the matter.
Cheers,
Haydn
