No Heater.

So PO of my vehicle bypassed the heater core and ran the feed and return line into each other. He also did the "mess" under the intake manifold as well.

So my question to you guys is.... Are parts 1 & 2 still the same even though the intake mess has been taken care of? its cold I want my heater :(

1. Assuming the stock hoses weren't cut, then yeah, you could probably hook them back up.

2. My fear is that heater core was bypassed for a reason - and hooking the hoses back up will cause coolant leaks in the cabin.

You have my sympathies since the last time I priced new heater core, valve, and pipes - they were pretty spendy..

I have a new heatercore already, need get some o rings! But yeah I'm worried about that as well. I think it could be the heater valve but doubtful. Thanks for being so helpful Simon just wanna make sure I order the correct hoses.
