    Terrible misfire after running perfectly

1991 318i had been running a little rough for a few days last week, then on Saturday I was accelerating onto the highway when the number 2 spark plug shot out of the head.

I was able to helicoil the plug socket and replaced the intake boot, which was badly cracked. The car ran great after that until this morning.

Started up perfectly, drove the 10 minutes in town perfectly and the 20 minutes on the highway perfectly but as soon as the revs dropped when I got off the highway it started to run and idle terribly. Sounded like a misfire and was really rich. No codes from the stomp test. What should I try first?

Solved - Spark plug boot was cut, leading to no spark in cylinder 2. Wrapped in electrical tape as a temporary fix. COP kit on its way.
