Hi guys, i'm pretty new to the forum and engine swaps, so i'm in need of some guidance.
I'm currently sourcing parts and information todo an m40b18 auto to m42b18 manual swap.
So far I have sourced an e36 m42 engine with manifolds, e36 m42 gearbox and prop, e30 m42 ecu and wiring harness.
I know I have to change the sump to my m40 sump, i'm going for a cop conversion with m52 packs, m20 flywheel and probably a rack conversion and i'll obviously need a manual pedal box, cylinders and lines.
Can I reuse the inlet and exhaust manifolds? Are my m40 engine mounts ok to use? What can I do with regards to the exhaust?
Is there anything i'm missing or any advice?
