    Could this be why my car wont start?

    Iridium are supposed to have small tips like that. What motor do you have that the plug boots fit over with the ball style ends on and only have 4 cyl?

          ITs an m42. 1991 318i. I guess this is what PO put in my understanding is you are not tupposed to use iridium plugs in e30?

            the magnecor wires i picked up for my m10 required maintaining the ball ends on my plugs.

            OP oily plugs could be bad seals or your rings are busted
            have you checked compression?

            the plugs don't look too bad though other than being oily. i'd suspect old seals.

              I run NGK iridium's in my e36 m42. Runs great, gets fantastic fuel mileage.
