My new 318is code 1244 ?

so I put everything back together after changing

power steering pulley belt
spark plugs
heaterplate delete
cam shaft position sensor.
cleaned throttle body and ICV

and it idles at 1100rpm steady

stomp code reveals 1444 which mean no codes. I previously had a code for the camshaft sensor.

I did a smoke test (with a cig) and I don't think there are any manifold leaks. does this car have a cold start where its suppose to rev high for a bit? the needle didn't come out of the blue shaded area of the temp guage but it was close an it was still at 1100rpm. so I shut it off. any thoughts?

im sketching to even turn it on again. I opened the rad cap this time when I started and it idle lower the 1100 but then it seemed like it was bucking and stalling and the car was shaking. maybe I need more smoke to test?
