Got two m42 motors I need to sell so I can purchase much needed suspension.
One was rebuilt at 170,000 and sadly 3000 miles later I spun out when freeway had flooded. This Motor was rebuilt by a long time BMW tech I know at rusnak BMW and yes costed me upward of 3000$. My loss your gain.
The other motor would need a rebuild, it started running rough at 210,000 miles and I suspect a bad ring because a plug was constantly fouling. Make me an offer for either, located in so cal will deliver depending on location

I have 2 motors as well haha. One burned oil which might be related to bad rings. Other snapped a camshaft. Both may be good for parts.
