    T/O Bearing and More

So i need to change my throw out bearing, and i figured while i was there. What else should i take care of?

I have a m40 flywheel sitting around. But not sure whether i should do just the m40 or do the m20 conversion.

I was thinking doing a short shifter as well as change the rear main seal.

Any and all advice is appreciated.

Input shaft bearing, rear main seal, tranny input seal, tranny rear and shifter seals, all shift lever bushings (can be had in delrin from condor speed shop) tranny mounts if needed as well.

Think about inspecting/replacing the flex disc and the center bearing while you are there. Don't forget an exhaust gasket (or copper spray on to fix the old one) at the manifold/downpipe, and maybe replace the manifold studs with bolts if you want to save a headache later.

Other trans related stuff to do would include a pilot bearing, and clutch release pivot pin.

As far as the flywheel it really depends on what you do with the car.

The car is a weekend car, and sometimes an autocross. I just read a few comments of how the m20 flyweel can make some vibrations at lower RPM's.

The m40 flywheel would be in between the two options as far as weight is concerned.

Thanks to both of you for your input!
