I am having an idle issue on my 1991 with the m42. When it is just sitting idling it sounds fine but if you touch the gas it hesitates and if your driving ariund and clutch in the revs fall too low so the motor shakes before it stabilizes. I hear a whooshing sound coming from the back of the engine closest to the firewall. What could it be?
