Just to make sure but the darker side goes towards/on the cylinder head correct? One side of the gasket is white and the other is a dark grey.

Unless one side is labelled as such either side should work fine. It's a metal gasket core with organic fiber on both sides, nothing fancy.Originally posted by 91318is View Post

Yea no labels or anything. I even called the dealer and the tech there said it shouldn't matter. I started up the car and everything worked fine! No leaking injectors, all gaskets seem ok and idles fine. ONE issue...dam coolant hose wasn't tightened down properly and of course its the hose by the cylinder head so all this $@#$ has to come off again. I might end up deleting that throttle body plate. Probably the dumbest thing put on a E30. Not many people live in northern Russia...
