    Alternator pulley slop

I've tried searching it can't find discussion on this, I'm sure it's been covered somewhere...
I have a slight play in the pulley, just enough to feel and hear a slight click. I have an old m20 alternator that also has a slight click, but that one is almost 30 years old with more miles. is it typical?

I don't see it being an immediate concern but just wanted to check with the experts.
    Thanks!

Haven't had any issues personally, but sounds like the bearings are wearing out. Maybe the belt is over tightened.

Thanks for the feedback. I was considering moving this to General discussion lol.

I guess I'll just run it considering it's an easy item to replace later on.
I did notice that the bushings were shot and the alternator was visually off by a few degrees. I'm actually surprised it wasnt squealing while driving for the last 10 months.
I put new bushings on it (wow are they expensive for such a lackluster item!!) and it now is very close to perfect alignment.
