how long can an m42 go

My m42 has over 250k miles, also doing an unnessary rebuild due to high mileage but it still had a steady idle and ran great.

I took it out the car this weekend and planning on doing a full rebuild! bought all timing compenents, water pump, temo, etc.
im tempted on buy jakes turbo kit when all said and done.



my concern is the oil pump, should it be replaced?

p.s not sure where to buy one either.

When I rebuilt my engine I replaced it for peace of mind. If you are doing a full rebuild I'd just go ahead and do it.
