When my car is cold, it'll idle at a normal RPM, 600-700. Once it warms up a bit, the RPM's shoot up to 1200 and bounce between there and like 1900 rpm. It's extremely annoying.
Things I've tried:
2 different ICV's. Same results.
No vacuum leaks.
Unplugged O2, still idles same.
Unplugged TPS, still idles same.
The only thing that dropped the RPM's was unplugging the AFM, but of course, it was idling terribly.
This one has me rather stumped, I'm usually pretty good at diagnosing my M42 nowadays.
Any ideas?
