Looking for accurate M42 torque specs and clearances

Ive been googling for 2 days and I havent had much luck. I havent seen a single consistent sheet, but these 2 sources look legitimate:

I am working with an e36 M42-- I know most of you guys are from the e30 world.

Anyways, I want to start on my project to replace the main bearings with the m50's 360 bearings but I havent found consistent torque specs yet. What I read here are 2 different numbers. one is 60nm the other is 20nm with 50* turn.

Is there one resource I can use? The Bentley manual does not have this in the service manual. Barely references the crankshaft in fact...

This is what I used. Similar source, BMW shop manual.

replace/wash and oil rod and main bearing bolts. Light coat of engine oil will do, NOT dripping.

Rods: Jointing torque-5nm
2nd torque-20nm
Then 70 degrees angle torque

Mains: Jointing torque-20nm
Then 50 degrees angle torque.

Doesnt degree torquing typically mean the bolts need to be replaced once they are removed? or is that not necessarily accurate? Thanks for the info.

OK based on what I read, the main bearing screws can be re-used. The connecting rod bolts must be replaced. They are $3.50 a piece at autohausaz.com and there's only 8. I dont plan on removing the pistons, however, so I am leaving them be. I feel the less I take apart the better for a first rebuild.

Yes, bolts that have a degree measurement are torque to yield bolts and must be replaced. TTY are also know as stretch bolts, which is why you have to replace them as they stretch when tightened properly and re-stretching them is bad.
