    Fuel pressure regulator - 91' 318i

So i recently refreshed some of the fuel system, I replaced the stock injectors with some mustang ones and the o-rings on the FPR with some generic ones and the short fuel lines going to the rail. I hadto bend the flange a little bit on the fuel rail to pry off the FPR.

When I got the car idling, it had a pretty bad misfire and fuel was leaking from the FPR. I was wondering if anyone knew if it had to be in a specific orientation? Or does the o-rings on the FPR specific to it? The generic o-rings are a little thinner than the original ones. And the FPR I knew was working originally.

    Thanks for any help!

Had a similar problem on a Toyota 4 runner and it turned out to be the injector O rings needed to be lubed with something better than what we used to get them to seat properly on the way in. We were getting a vacuum leak at the injectors due to them not sitting properly in their bores.
