In operation it is not supposed to see any load since the 240 ft-lb torque on the 22mm bolt clamps the hub to the crank snout. Very odd.


    It took the part that is exposed for the hub to slide and smashed it back against the chain sprocket. No clue how it happened at all. I made sure the hub was lined up with the key and on it before tightening it down. I didn’t use power tools at all just a ratchet. I guess i don’t know my own strength?
