    Torque Specs

    I am replacing my oil pan gasket, and need to know the torque specs, for the oil pan, and the gasket above, the lower 1/2 of the engin. any help is much appreciated.

    96.0 in/lbs or ~ 8ft/lbs. A torque wrench that reads in inch lbs is far more accurate than one that reads in ft/lbs. Be careful not to strip any threads. I would advise you to run a tap in each hole before putting hte pan back on. There are M6X1.00

    Be sure to torque in an oder that is not going to warp the gasket. IE cross pattern [tp the best of your abilities]
