Trying to remove the waterpump and the dang thing just won't budge. Tried two bolts in the tapped bores like it says in the Bentley and they just cracked the pump and stripped the bores. Crobar does nothing. Am I missing something here?

Ummm just wondering what Bentley are you using? I have the E30 and E36 Bentley manuals for my old 318is since there was no m42 coverage in my Bentley. Unless they did some heavy re-writing yours should be the same, meaning the m42 isn't covered. -

Nevermind. Sprayed it down with more penetrant and the crobar popped it out. Glad I did this, a lot of corrosion inside and a plastic impeller(sp?). New pump has a metal one.Comment
