It finally runs but haas a few things needing sorting out.

Ok so i got the m42 running. Much thanks to everyone who helped. Now i need to sort out a few little problems to make the car relible.

1. Once in a while if i stall the car it will not start back up. It with turn over and actlike it is going to start and then just die. If i rev the motor a few times to like 3000 rpm then it is fine. Once ina great while it stalls in the same way when coming to a stop.

2. GAS MILEAGE IS HORRIBLE!!!! like 21 mpg.

3. It sometimes searchs for a idle, It seems to go between 800-1200.


Im pretty sure all these ca be traced to a vacum leak. Dose anyone have a vacum line diagram?

sounds like it could either be a vacuum leak, or maybe the ICV. here is a link to a thread about the vacuum lines over on m42club. it helped me out when i had a leak.
