Anyone know off hand of a stock BMW throttle cable that is about 6 inches longer than the e30-M42 part?

I don't know of a factory one, but most compentent bike shops can make one out of a shifter cable. Mine broke and that was the only option I had until I could get a new one. This being a bicycle shop, not motorcycles... -
