    E30 / E36 M42 Clutch Interchangable?

Simple as that, can you use a clutch from an E36 318i in an E30 318i? Or vise versa?

    Thanks!

It looks to be interchangeable. Both have a 215mm clutch disc with kit PN 21211223570.

but you can also, switch to a m20 flywheel, use the conversion parts and drop 10 lbs off your flywheel, all for the only extra cost of a used flywheel and stater. note it does use a different pressure plate and disc, all standard bmw stuff, but off different models
