    Rear diff options?

Can someone point me to a website showing what rear ends were available for each model? I have a 4.10LSD on my 89 325i (now a 5spd), and was wondering if that was an option from the factory or if the 4.10 was only available on the automatics.

The only factory option for that car was a limited slip differential rather than the open diff. Both are 3.73. A 4.10 was the differential for that year car if shipped with an automatic transmission with a limited slip differential available as an option.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

That's what I was afraid of. Throws me into a different class with SCCA autocrossing. Thanks anyways!

Swap in a 3.73 limited slip differential. That will fix your classing problem and give you slightly better fuel economy.
